Instructions Overview
All instructions supported by SpecFormula ISA
Instructions are the core components of SpecFormula test specifications, with each instruction corresponding to a specific test operation.
Available Instructions
| Instruction | Purpose |
|---|---|
| ApiCall | Execute HTTP API requests |
| EntitySetup | Prepare test data (INSERT) |
| ResponseValidate | Validate API responses |
| EntityValidate | Validate database record exists |
| EntityNonExistenceValidate | Validate database record does not exist |
| TimeControl | Control mock time |
Mapping Instructions to Gherkin
Instructions are mapped to Gherkin Step text through regular expressions defined in isa.yml:
instructions:
- name: API call
format: ^\((?:No Actor|UID="(?P<userId>\$[\w.]+)")\) (?P<summary>.+?), call table:$
instruction_type: api_callWhen a Gherkin Step matches the regular expression, the framework executes the corresponding instruction logic.
