Entry guide for adopting SpecFormula in Java and C# projects
SpecFormula's specification layer is shared across languages: isa.yml, OpenAPI specs, DDL/mapping files, .isa.feature, and .dsl.feature should keep the same semantics. Language packages connect those specs to each BDD runtime and test framework.
Choose your stack
| Stack | BDD runtime | Build tool | Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Java | Cucumber JVM | Maven | Java / Maven |
| C# | Reqnroll | .NET SDK / MSBuild | C# / Reqnroll |
Shared test resources
Regardless of language, a test project usually needs these files:

This documentation currently follows the development repository layout:
- Java uses Maven modules / local Maven install.
- C# uses ProjectReference. Once official NuGet packages and release flow are finalized, this page should be updated with
dotnet add packagecommands.
